How To Apply

Boarding Schools  in Ireland accept applications on an individual basis. Generally in Ireland, Admissions Offices have rolling admissions policies and accept applications throughout the year until each school is fully enrolled. Greater detail is provided on the admissions page of each school. To find out more about individual schools, please click here. Please do not hesitate to contact BSI or individual schools if you require support with the application process.

As all schools are different, you will need to be in touch with individual schools to find out their exact application process. Generally, Schools will require applicants to complete the following steps:

Step 1: Complete an online application through the school's website - an application fee may apply

Step 2: Submit supporting documents:

  • Submit past and current report cards
  • Recommendations (ex., teacher, coach, Headmaster, etc.)
  • Other documentation (ex., birth certificate, photograph, etc.)
  • Submit the required language test (International Students) (ex., IELTS or TOEFL)

Step 3: Interview with Admissions Representative (usually available over Zoom or Skype for international students)
